Naturopathy and Its Complementary Role in Healthcare

Naturopathy is not against any system of medicine. Each medical approach has its own benefits and side effects. Naturopathy excels in providing relief and cures for a variety of ailments, such as Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM), Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM), Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), hypercholesterolemia, stomach issues (like ulcers, acid peptic disorders, and gastritis), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD), skin conditions (like psoriasis and eczema), asthma, allergies, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, renal failure (pre-dialysis and post-dialysis), obesity, and some cancers.

Our hospital has demonstrated that naturopathy effectively manages and alleviates these conditions.

Principles of Naturopathy

Naturopathy, scientifically studied in the US and UK, draws its core principles from ancient philosophies of existence. According to Yoga philosophy, the world is made up of five elements, known as the ‘Pancha Mahabhutas’:

  1. Akasha – Space
  2. Vayu – Air
  3. Tejas – Fire
  4. Apas – Water
  5. Prithvi – Earth

Humans are made up of these elements, and health is maintained by living in harmony with nature’s laws. Naturopathy believes that when individuals live against nature’s principles, they invite disease. Issues like environmental degradation (pollution, global warming, ozone depletion) are signs of humanity straying from nature’s course, leading to physical ailments.

Think Twice About Your Health Choices

It’s crucial to reconsider purchasing health through quick fixes or commercialized products. True health comes from a disciplined lifestyle, not from the marketplace. While medications can help in certain instances, chronic diseases require a combination of therapies, such as diet control, exercise, and medications, to manage effectively. For instance, managing diabetes requires not only oral medications but also diet adjustments and exercise.

If your diet is filled with fast foods, fried foods, sugary drinks, and lacks greens, you may be slowly poisoning your body. Failing to prioritize exercise further worsens your health. It’s time to take responsibility for your body and ensure its long-term well-being.
